Notice of Employment

The Town of Farmerville is accepting applications until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 for a Public Works Director.  All applications will be subject to a background check. References required.  Applications may be picked up and returned at Farmerville Town Hall located at 1024 Sterlington Hwy, Farmerville, LA, 71241, during regular business hours or email to gpepper@farmerville.org. 

Applicants must have the following qualifications.

Class IV Water Treatment, Production and Distribution License with the State of Louisiana.

Class IV Waste Water Treatment and Collection License with the State of Louisiana.

ICS-300 and ICS 400 Certificate Training from the State of Louisiana Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.

Knowledge of public works operations, including but not limited to construction, engineering, maintenance, office and business procedures.

Experience in the application of management and supervisory principles and practices as pertaining to municipal government.

Must also be able to pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license.
