Public Hearing on Ordinance No 03-20

  1. Consider Ordinance No. 03-20 declaring 4 Acres in the Industrial Park surplus property.
  2. Declare an Emergency on Sink Hole behind MSB.
  3. Presentation of LRWA Rate Study.
  4. Street Closure Request for DWCS. 
  5. Zoning Commission Report. (Need to approve action taken by commission)

MEETING MINUTES

Town of Farmerville
Special Meeting
October 21, 2020

The Farmerville Town Council met in special session at Farmerville Town Hall, located at 407 South Main Street, Farmerville, Louisiana, on October 21, 2020. The council members present were Mayor M. Stein Baughman, Alderman Jerry Taylor, Thomas Nation, Caroline Gatson, Robert Allen, and Ricky Johnikin.

The roll was called and with a quorum present Mayor Baughman called the meeting to order. Invocation was offered by Johnikin.

As state law requires, Mayor Baughman offered the public the opportunity to voice their opinion on all agenda items at this time. 

After much discussion, Mr. Jeffery Woods, indicated that he no longer wished to have the event he had scheduled at the Willie Davis Recreation Center on Saturday, October 21, 2020, and also that he just wanted to be reimbursed his expenses for the event to date..

Upon motion by Allen, seconded by Gatson and unanimously approved to refund Mr. Woods expenses which he indicated were approximately a thousand dollars.

There being no further business to come before the council, Mayor Baughman declared this meeting adjourned this the 21st day of October, 2020, upon motion by Johnikin, seconded by Taylor, and unanimously approved.
